Can we say "I LOVE PASTA?!"

The first few are lasagne and the ones with the blue bowl are spagetti. We've discovered that basically Jakey will eat anything with marinara sauce on it. Hee hee! YUM!
SQUEEZE!! Flex those baby muscles! His new full-length orange bib appropriately says 1spoon-2spoon-3spoon-floor!

I love this bowl sequence just because he was being so silly this day! Love you all and hope you enjoy!! Miss you TONS! xoxo

Jason's Hawk House!

Tada! The master builder! Exciting!



Jason plans to get a kestral by the end of October and keep it at our place, but built this HUGE hawk house to pass the inspection and get his license-- which he did.:) It's required to be this big because most birds of prey are much larger than a kestral. Perhaps in the future when we havc a back yard, he will be able to get a nice big red-tail hawk to fill it up.


As you can see by his fingers, the kestral will only be this big :)

Happy Birthday Dad!! It was yesterday...
No one could ask for a better dad and papa! We all love you and we cherish the love you have given all of us. Hope you had a grrrreat birthday!

Happy Birthday Ashley!...somewhat late...

Happy Birthday Ashley! I know it was on the third, but I just wanted to let my sister know how much we all love her and what a wonderful mother and lady she is!! No matter what, Ashley, you can always put a smile on our faces. WE LOVE YOU!

You especially can always make me laugh. hehe.

I knew he'd be the first...

Well...Last night was a bit crazy - thought we'd tell ya about it. Karen and I took the boys to Costco to pick up a few things and we decided to get some pizza for dinner. Daddy was out riding motorcycles with the boys and Grandpa was going to meet us later. So the kids are almost done and Tucker is playing around the bench and the table, getting up and down and all of a sudden he tripped and fell, like he often does. Only this time, I went to get him and saw lots of blood! He crashed on his mouth and was bleeding everywhere! Karen took him and I got wipes on his mouth and we dropped the pizza, plates and cups, got the cart and rushed outta there. Thankfully Karen was with me!!! We loaded up and with Karen holding Tucker and me driving, we rushed over to Tuality ER in Hillsboro (Karen telling me the way of course -I had no clue). On the way Karen got Tucker to calm down and we made it to the ER around 5:45. We got checked out and Tucker had just bit through a big chunk of his lip! OUCH. Thankfully his teeth and chin are fine. He was SOOO sweet and brave through the whole ordeal! When getting checked out, the nurses would explain to him what they were doing and he would just say "Ooh." He was very still and did so well. We decided to knock him out to get the stitches, so after an IV (where he didn't flinch or peep when it was going in), and he got all hooked up to everything, the doctor came and they knocked him out and stitched him up! It all went so well and he did great! He got a total of 9 stitches in his little lip! He was pretty cute when he woke up, smiling and being silly. The nurses gave him a soft teddy bear and stickers. But he really wanted to go home and see Jett and Daddy. We finally made it home around 8:30 and all is healing well! Man I love that kid! He is so precious and brave and so sweet. He'll get the stitches out in 5 days and so far so good! What a night though!!! Our first ER trip! (I knew it would be Tucker...)

Labor Day Camping Fun

Hey all, just a few pic's to let you in on some of the fun
we had this last weekend. The weather was awesome, the relaxation was complete, the food plentiful and we thoroughly enjoyed just spending time together.

Last Trip of the Summer

Kimbre and I made it two for two on family reunions this summer. With everyone spread out between Coeur d' Alene, Moscow, Provo, and Denver my family just sort of met in the middle in Provo. Everyone made it except for my second oldest brother, his wife, and their five kids.

We had a lot of fun hiking straight up the side of American Fork Canyon and going through the Timpanogas Cave. Kimbre didn't even mind the hike (too much). We also spent an afternoon at Temple Square, took the kids to the Gateway Discovery Center in downtwon SLC, and spent a Saturday afternoon at the pool relaxing.

Here is the whole crew at the base of the Timpanogas Cave hike. We're smiling because we haven't started yet. This is everyone except the seven in Denver who couldn't make it and my brother Travis' wife who had school. Yes, everyone got the memo for the matching shirts. Surprisingly, the youngsters and I were able to keep them clean for a whole day.

It's A Peanut!

My first appointment was today. Everything looks good and they said my due date is April 8th! We are excited!

Lake Powell Vacation - 2008

Well, this is our 8th trip to Lake Powell and everything went wonderfully. No breakdowns, no major injuries, and lots of fun in the sun. It took us a while to find the perfect beach and we had a couple of fun times trying to dock the boat - the first of the season is always a train wreck, but we all had a great time, came home exhausted, and will long remember the blessing of watchful angels who guard and guide our paths each day. It's a lot of work to put this together but Sue's amazing and always seems to get it right. With a smaller crew this year, we had some challenges but also shorter lines during meal time ;o).. We realize in the coming years of new babies and conflicting schedules this trip might get pretty lean in terms of family members being able to make it. We hope we can keep it going into the future for many more wonderful memories for our grandchildren.
