On Saturday afternoon, we were hanging out at the Rowley's house and learned that Kim and Karen weren't going to use their awesome Oregon Symphony tickets that night (he had gotten them from his work) due to Karen being sick. After asking who might be able to use them, everyone had plans or didn't feel well (including Jayson), so I decided to snatch them up and take Jett out on a date!! It was SO much fun dressing up, going downtown to the Schnitz and enjoying the absolutely incredible music! The seats were great and Jett loved it!! We had so much fun talking about all the instruments, listening to the special solo violinist, and witnessing the crazy talent of all the musicians! The last two songs were from Mozart then Tchaikovsky and were SO cool! It was amazing to see that the conductor didn't even need music- he knew it so well! It was such a great experience! Afterwards we went out for ice cream and I think Jett especially liked that he got to stay up so late out with mom! I definitely think we'll have to have more mommy/son dates with the kiddos!!
