Maui Wowie

Hey everyone. We had a WonderFUL time in Maui this last week. I got the pictures in the wrong order here but below are a few of the best.





Here is from the last day on the North Shore. The waves are HUGE!

On the road to Hana, Sue and Kimbre got out for a quick walk in the jungle.

This is just one of many turtles we saw everytime we went out snorkeling. What a thrill to see these beautiful animals - How graceful, how utterly exciting to see!

On the boat to Mollukini, it was a very blustery day, much too rough for snorkeling so we took an extended tour of the shore and dove in sheltered bays. At the end the sparrow just know there are leftovers to be had.

Here is a spotted puffer fish.

An a varigated spiny urchin. These came out pretty good.

Below is a SilverSword that grows only on the top of the volcano in Maui.

Here we all are for a night out in Lahaina of authentic Hawaiian cuisine.

Ava...

The weather here is finally starting to look better - so Ava wanted to get outside nd ride her bike. We've been working on it and now she can pedal and steer pretty well. But just in case...

I am going to be BUSY!!!!!!!

SO... I just made the best bargain sale ever! We have 2 JoAnn's fabrics stores that are closing and moving into one HUGE store - so today... all of their fabric left over was 95% off!!! So I went a little nuts. However... I spent a total of $25.99 and I SAVED $428.03!!! YOWZAA!

Matt and I are Home Owners!

It's official! We signed the papers, got the keys and we're movin' in! Here are some pics of the finished product. Yaayy!

Updates...again

If it's a sunny day then by golly they're gonna paint! Matt and I were suprised as we drove up to the house to see men working on it. I guess when it's the middle of February it doesn't matter if its a Sunday or a weekday, they're gonna take advantage of the nice weather and get the work done!


We got to walk around inside and apparently right before we walked in they had just gotten the tile work done on the fireplace and the entry. All the cabinents are in and most of the lighting. Its amazing what they can get done in just a week.

First Ultrasound!

Hello All!
Thought I'd share a few fun picts of our first ultrasound! Exciting! We're due Sept.1. The baby was very very active during the whole thing which was cool. It has a hearbeat of 175 and everything looks good!

Updates...

Matt and I drove by the house today! It's going up so quickly and is really taking shape. It's finally becoming real...and very scary.

We got to walk through it with out the workers there today. These are pics of the family room and the kitchen.
They finished up the drywall this past week and we're expecting it to be done by the 17th. Closing and all the paperwork stuff is going to happen just a few days after that and then it will be OURS. Its terrifyingly exciting.

I can't believe we have a five year old! WOW. We sure have enjoyed these five years and we couldn't ask for a better kid. Jett is such an awesome big brother and a total sweetheart! He is so smart and a deep thinker. He also loves to get rough and rowdy with the guys and loves to have fun. Jett is such a blessing in our lives and we love him so much!!!
