Family Bike Ride

It was the perfect Saturday morning, so we packed a lunch, brought the three littles in the car, and met the Daddy and the big boys for a family bike ride.  It was so fun and the kids were so proud of themselves.  We chose a park just down the street so the boys wouldn't have to go far.

MacKay-grams September

Can I just say how grateful and happy I am for where we are living now.  Every Tuesday and Thursday we get to play with Bella and Link in the morning and in the afternoon, Brookie and Ethan get to go to preschool with Auntie Shannon.  Having them just down the street is THE BEST!  They ask me EVERY day when they can go to school again.

On Tuesday mornings, I bring Bella, Brook, and Ethan to gymnastics with Miss Donna.  We get some pretty funny looks walking in with three preschoolers, Link at about 20 months, and Suzy at 2 1/2.  Haha!  I wonder what must go through peoples' heads!

Cousins are the best friends!

These two are too much fun together!
Someday the pounding will turn into duets.... right?
Cheese!

It's always fun when "new" things fit (even though I want to tell her to quit growing!!)  I feel like Brookie is getting so much older lately.   Love this sweet girl.

So...NEW calling for me!  I have been music something in EVERY ward I've ever been in... until now..... say hello to the new 1st Counselor in Young Womens!  I have no idea what I'm doing, but these ladies are awesome.  Super excited to serve with them.

Nothing like hunting for gummy bears in a plate of whipped cream!  We had fun at Rhode's birthday!

She picked out this outfit herself--head to toe.  I think she looks like the cutest girl at the sock hop!

Jason with giggling kids = melt my heart.  I love this man.

Suzy came home from church, started to watch a show while I was fixing some lunch, and passed out!  Church is exhausting!
Snuggles with my baby.  She is getting so big so fast, I know there aren't many of these moments left.
(By the way it's official-- Suzy is potty-trained!!!!)

Braden is SEVEN!!

And with Jesse and Whitney in town-- and all the other MacKay cousins-- it is a birthday swimming bbq BASH!  I love it when all these kiddos are together.  Braden was a happy guy.

Bray was in Lego heaven this year!

This highchair row with all the babies makes me smile every time.

Thank you hugs with Auntie Shannon.

While Bray was opening presents, Brookie asked Uncle John to do numbers with her-- so sweet.  When we saw them last, he did ABCs with her and she LOVED it.
Braden holding the fish bank that Brynlee bought for him with her own money.  So sweet.
He loved painting it all by himself.

That evening after birthday time, the ladies went out for happy hour sushi.
Love laughing with these great women. So grateful to have them as family.

Jesse and Whitney are HERE!!!

We haven't seen these two since their wedding two years ago!!  It was so much fun having them in town for two weeks!  Shauna and her fam came into town, the Bakers came and it was a party!  The kids were all over Auntie Whitney and Uncle Jesse!

The kids did their summer reading and got free tickets to Shark Reef, so we decided to invite J & W and S & C to come with, followed by Cafe Rio!

Suzy was especially fascinated!
Brookie and Whitney were buds.
Jellyfish are so magical.

MacKay grams August

Just some crazy sisters.

Suzy and Brook love dressing up together!  Suzy is always looking up to her big sis.

We LOVE having Bella and Lincoln over.

We have the sweetest neighbors.  They got this new toy out and were totally fine with letting our kids have a ride too.  Ethan was a natural. Fun stuff.

Ethan is such a sweet brother with Suzy.  I love how he helps her on the swing.

This girl will stay on the swing the entire time we're at the park.
She is getting so good at pumping herself higher.

Karen's ward did a special service project aimed at helping the many refugee families coming to Las Vegas.   We brought clothes, the kids made signs, and Karen showed them a brief video explaining what a refugee is. I remember what Pres. Uchtdorf said last conference-- "Not so long ago, we were them." I hope things like this help my kid remember to be grateful and give back.

It was a last hurrah cabin trip before school started.  I think Jake's favorite thing was making crazy faces and videos with my phone.
Braden, Brooklynn, and Susan are serious Rummicube players.

Costco hotdogs rock.

Somebody likes her glasses, "phone," dressing herself, and .... drum roll please.... GOING POTTY!!  Three days and only one accident so far!  Somebody pinch me!!
