Brycen's Blessing

A big thanks for all the support for Brycen's blessing. It was so great to have mom and dad here with us. Ava latched onto Nana and they were buddies the whole time. The blessing was beautiful and Drew did a great job - of course! We had a luncheon afterward and then visited with family. What a beautiful day!

ABC & 123

The first one is now, the one in the tub was in May. He's been improving! :)

Jacob has been learning to count to 20. It still turns into 1,2,3,8,3,8... if I don't give him 4, but more and more it's becoming this! Hee hee! He knows that WXYZ is "the end!"

The Hulk!

Jacob was painting with watercolors again and decided to be green--transforming himself into... The Hulk! Haha!!

4th of July in Boise

We had a great time with everyone in Boise and especially Drew, Mandy, Ava, and Brycen. On Saturday morning AVA had a wonderful time in a Ward Parade on her trike in the church parking lot. Drew did a pretty good job on the decorations.

Can't wait to see Brycen and Dallas together. This boy is mellow, happy, and about as easy as they come. What a fun time.

It's been a while...

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. Matt and I don't really do much. But I thought I would post my most current project. Its slowly coming along and I'm not even close to being done. The things to do with a new house are never ending!!

BEST DEAL YET!

This is the best grocery/coupon deal I have done yet... At Albertson's they had these chunk light tuna pouches on sale for $1.25 - then marked down to .75 cents. So I bought 60 of them and , of course, I had coupons for all 60! Then at the register, it printed 12 MORE coupons for me - SO... when all was said and done - I purchased 60 pouches and only paid $3.00! (it would've cost $75.00 at the sale price.) INCREDIBLE!

Camping Trip

So last weekend we decided to go camping!! Our first of the year and Dallas's first ever. We had such a fun time! The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed the nice weekend. On Friday morning, Jayson got us a "new" tent trailer. It's a 1968 little tiny trailer that folds out into a huge canvas tent and it's in mint condition! The previous owners rarely used it and stored it in a garage. So of course we had to try it out. We went to Brown's camp and found a great spot and set up camp, got settled and had a really yummy dutch oven dinner and dessert around the campfire. The kids had a blast playing with sticks, rocks, dirt and other toys and of course they all loved riding on the motorcycle. On Saturday we played some more around the camp then decided to explore. We piled the kids in the back of our truck and we all went for a drive around Brown's Camp seeing where the guys ride their motorcycles when they come and just enjoying the beauty around us. It was a very bumpy ride, but we had fun. We found a good place to stop and hike around and we stayed at a creek bed for awhile. The kids loved throwing rocks and splashing their feet in the water. After a nice nap we packed up and came home. It was a fun start to a summer full of more camping trips!!

Davis's Wedding-- Cute Boys!

Just have to show off my cute boys from some picts taken Saturday at Davis's Wedding! EVERYONE just couldn't get over Jacob's cuteness-- and I must say I agree with them!

For the first time, Jakey wasn't afraid of the 4-wheelers-- on the contrary he was excited and fascinated by the "motorcycles!" It was so cute watching him discover everything again as a 2 year old. :)

Little Picasso

So, a couple days ago I let Jacob play with some water paints for the first time. He loved it! As you can see, he also loved painting himself--gotta love the 'stash! Haha!

I love FREE STUFF!!!!!

So I have been trying to get better at grocery shopping and using coupons - and today I went to Walgreens and scored big! I got all of this loot for $27.35! I would have cost me $93.87 - and check this out - I got all of the Aquafresh toothpaste (7 of them) FREE!
Just had to brag a little bit - I'm actually kinda proud of myself. :)

Sue and I went out with Jon and Lauri Myers for a double date on the jet sleds. We had a great time but the sleds were just a pain through the whole trip with a bad battery and sucking up rocks.
We ended up having a soggy dinner, and leaving one sled to go get the truck and trailer.
We just LOVE this new shower enclosure! Drew did a fantastic job and can't wait to do it again on the next bathroom.

Tucker's Birthday

So Tucker had a great 3rd birthday and thanks for all the well wishes and fun gifts for the little guy!! His birthday was on Friday so when Jayson got home, Tucker opened his presents from mom and dad -- a new ball, a Spiderman scooter, and dress-up pirate gear. After presents, we took the kids to a place called Out of this World Pizza and we had a BLAST!! It's a space-themed indoor play-place and it's great! We had some yummy pizza and then the kids went wild playing on the 3 story play structure with long slides and lots of climbing around. There were also 2 inflatables that the boys had fun on and an area where they were able to ride on plasma cars. Jett got so sweaty--he was dripping!! This place was awesome and Jayson and I got to play too! Dallas was an angel the whole time so we were all able to enjoy Tucker's birthday fun!!!
On Saturday, Tucker got a couple more gifts from Grandma and Grandpa and Grandma Fran. And on Sunday, we got everyone together for cake and icecream and presents from Nana and Papa and from Donna's family. Tucker had quite the birthday weekend and loved playing with all the fun toys!!

On Monday, we tried out the sprinkler gift from Nana and Papa -- the boys loved it and had so much fun playing outside!!

Tucker had fun with the balls. He was very careful to get only the ball wet!

They got the slide out and Tucker didn't like the water getting him so Jett would block it only to let it go right when Tucker went down the slide! The boys had a lot of fun and it was a great birthday weekend!!!

I know this post just keeps going but I had to include this photo of Dallas. He sat like this for a while just watching a little TV!! We think he's pretty cute! =)
