MacKay-grams

Inspired by Kimbre and her mad crochet and knitting skills, I decided to give it a whirl. It also didn't hurt that my friend Kacey was clearing out some sewing stuff and gave me a huge tin of beautiful buttons!!  This will be a boot cuff when I'm finished.

Nice photo-bomb Jacob.

Blowing dandelions after church . . .

These texts from Jason started with "I'm soooo lonely!:/".  I was in the bedroom working in the Blog and he was in the family room. I love this man! He always makes me smile and laugh!

Clinging to dad on the lift!  We threw a ball too high!  Jason and Sid just began leasing this space for the new business.:)

Peek-a-boo at the park!   First time in the tubes!  Love this happy face.

It was Brooklynn's turn to give the lesson for FHE.  So Daddy helped her draw some pictures, and together they told the story of Nephi's faith in getting the brass plates.

Love that this girl likes to play in the dirt! The sun was bright and her face was such a mess! Haha!

We tried something new and planted a winter garden this year!  Vegas winters aren't unlike spring in other parts of the country!  Jason planted a few seeds this past November and come February we were harvesting peas, kale, swiss chard, collards, a couple of lettuces, and several other greens!  The tomatoes in the photo came from a neighbor who has a greenhouse!

Little Napoleon!

Macayo's Mexican Restaurant has been a MacKay Family favorite for generations!  Their fresh chips and salsa are THE BEST!  According to MacKay family tradition getting a triple-- or in this case quadruple!-- folded chip is good luck!

Suzy loves strawberries!  I think she polished off about 1/2lb in this picture! Juicy face!

I love this girl at the library.

It's Carmen Miranda!  Showin' a little shoulder there girl-- and I cannot get over these pants that came with this outfit!  Hahaha!

Love this cutie patootie!

Can you guess how many "babies" Brooklynn tucked in last night? (hint*--there's one not pictured on her bed too!)

Who knows what these are?  Channeling Grandma Afton. . . .
