Jacobisms

Jacob is afraid of pretty much anything that makes a loud noise. This includes things like loud flushing toilets, blenders, blow dryers, and of course the VACUUM. Just now I was telling him that after his snack, he needed to go into his room and play with Bray because I am going to vacuum. His response, "AND shut the door! Or it will vroom up all my toys and be stuck forever!" I love the way my 3 year old thinks! :)

So funny! I took my vacuum over to Ashley's the other day (for her to borrow), and as soon as Dallas saw it, he pointed and said, "vroom, vroom, vroom" with a very concerned look on his face. Ashley said that Dallas does NOT like the vacuum, either, and he successfully got his point across, even though he didn't use any words.

Amazing how kids can say what they mean and mean what they say. A good lesson for all of us....
